Hi everyone!Here at Hampshire House we are getting ready for Christmas as I imagine you are all doing the same. Last Monday evening we made gingerbread houses. What fun we had doing that. We made several little ones out of graham crackers.
Some folks worked on a big one that we entered into the contest down town. The theme this year was classic toys. We chose to Lincoln Logs as our project. Many folks remembered playing with them as children. We used tootsie rolls as the lincoln logs. The rest of the gingerbread was made from gingerbread and decorated with lots and lots of candy.
Saturday we decorated the facility. Many of our friends and family came in to help us. We decorated four trees, one for each living room. After the decorating was complete we had a snack and then sang Christmas carols. It was such a fun day!
