Monday we had a visit from Cleo, a bulldog/boxer mix loaded with charm and personality. Cleo comes to see us on a regular basis and the residents have gotten very fond of her. She lives at the Delaware Valley Humane Society shelter in Sidney, NY. Hampshire House has "adopted" the shelter and makes donations of bedding and other necessities. We just donated a handmade quilt to them to raffle off. Karen Crawford, the shelter manager, says they have the capacity for 37 dogs and 75 to 80 cats and usually they are nearly full, especially with cats.
